The Sales Specialists will be handling mostly walk-in clients (lot-ups). The candidate must have good computer and phone skills with knowledge of the Internet. Experience working on a lead management system (CRM) for managing customer data is preferred but not required. We will provide in-house training on our management tool. A passion for the Subaru product and experience in automotive sales is a plus. The position consists of following up with customers by email, making followup phone calls, setting appointments, preparing for client arrival to the dealership, working jointly with sales & management staff, and following the guidance of the Internet Director with assigned tasks. Position: Sales Specialist & Internet Sales Specialist

Responds to customer inquiries in a quick, efficient, thorough manner. Following thru entire sales process (appointments, test drives, sales process, post-sales follow-ups/contact with client, etc.) ensuring that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit potential for Sales.

Duties Responsibilities:

  • Communicates effectively with Internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether by phone, by e-mail, or in person.

  • Has thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services.

  • Satisfies the transportation needs of Internet-generated customers.

  • Directs customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet.

  • Understands the psychology of Internet customers and works with them accordingly to draw them into the store for proper vehicle selection/demonstration and to close the transaction.

  • Checks email frequently and responds to inquires immediately. Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.

  • Coordinates Internet promptions with other dealership sales promotions and advertising.

  • Takes photos of clients after the sale and supply for testimonial/blog on dealership site.

  • Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.

  • Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.

  • Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals.

  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.

  • Attends sponsored events, product/sales training, and meetings as requested by sales manager.

  • Schedules first service appointment.

  • Maintains professional appearance.


Qualifications:


  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA

  • Must possess the ability to build repertoire with colleagues and clients maintaining relationships

  • Be detailed oriented and be comfortable working with detailed paperwork/numbers

  • Prior retail sales experience, automotive sales experience preferred

  • Prompt, punctual, and have good time management skills

  • Be able to provide excellent customer service thru presentation skills both in person, via telephone, and subsequent followups both before & after the sale
